TOCA IN THE COMMUNITY

We work with a number of local community groups, schools and non-profit organisations. Irrespective of background, we aim to ensure that all members of our community have the opportunity to enjoy the TOCA Social interactive playing experience. Additionally, we offer education, training and work experience for targeted groups.

FOOTBALL BEYOND BORDERS

In support of all the amazing work Football Beyond Borders (FBB) delivers within inner city secondary schools for pupils that are disengages or at risk ofbeing disengaged from school.

The feedback wehave received from the young people, teachers and FBB staff has been excellent. As such, we plan to continue and build upon our efforts in providing complementary activities to the FBB offer.

CHARLTON TRUST

We are delighted to have forged an excellent working relationship with Charlton Athletic Community Trust (CACT). For many years CACT have delivered local initiatives that has a positive impact on improving health, reducing crime, and improving levels of education & employment.

In the main the support with have given CACT has been targeted at their groups of young people at risk of offending, those suffering with mental health and people with disabilities. In addition to enjoying the TOCA Social Games experience we have also provided work experience, training, and paid employment to nominated individuals.

GREENWICH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP

Working with over 80 primary and secondary schools in Greenwich, The Greenwich Schools Sport Partnership (GSSP), provides several sports/ PE led activities aimed at improving health and wellbeing.

Identified as a suitable and safe space our venue is used to deliver activities to their groups of inactive primary age children, who in the main have had little or no positive sporting experiences. Providing a platform for the young people to develop a fun and rewarding relationship with sport participation has been the most encouraging outcome of this scheme.

Charity Boots

Forming part of our sustainability drive we have partnered with Charity Boots. Charity Boots is a UK based Charity that collects unwanted football boots / trainers and donates them to families facing financial hardship.

To date we have donated over 100 pairs of our partially used footwear to Charity Boots who have provided them to those in need of this support.
